ordering information

Artwork should grab the attention of your customers

Keep art simple for maximum impact

You can supply your company logo or alternatively use the print sizes under each product and submit your whole adcopy directly to our art department. Include an order number & your company name in subject line, this helps us to process your order faster and accurately.

No toning i.e. No tints, halftones or stipple, except in the case of full colour art.

No fine strokes. Strokes need to be a minimum of 0.5 points.

No large blocks with fine reverses. These are extremely hard to print, either they fill in or do not have enough coverage.

No small (less than 6pt) or fine typefaces. Fine fonts like commercial script, should have a stroke added to thicken.

Digital.jpg Digital printing
Digital printing is achieved by using either a colour copier or inkjet printer. Both processes are capable of full colour printing
Embroidery.jpg Embroidery
Embroidery designs are stitched onto the products with an automated embroidery machine. These designs are “digitized” with embroidery software.
Foil_Printed.jpg Foil printing
Foil printing is achieved by stamping foil to the product. Foil printing best suits simple text, line art and basic logos.
Heat_Transfer_Digital.jpg Heat transfer digital
Heat transfer printing is an indirect printing method where rather than printing directly onto a product, the inks are printed onto a release paper then transferred with a heat press to the product.
Laser_Engraved.jpg Laser engraving
Laser engraving gives a permanent finish and is only suitable for some products. The cost of laser engraving is affected by the size of the area to be engraved.
Resin_Coated_Finish.jpg Resin coated
This is a permanent resin coated logo attached to the product which can be in full colour. Products branded with this process are marked in the catalogue but it is possible to use it for most items that have a flat or slightly curved printing surface. (See labels & stickers)
Screen_Printed.jpg Screen printing
Screen printing involves stencil branding information onto the product.
Vector.jpg Vector art required
Products that require vector art can be printed in 1- 4 pms ink colours only. This requires artwork in an .eps format. CMYK images are not acceptable. Make sure all fonts are outlined before supplying.
Full_Colour.jpg Full colour printing
.jpg files (Raster Art) Hi Resolution (300dpi) to print size. These items have a full colour print and therefore all artwork should be CMYK and have bleed where appropriate. Most full colour products are guillotined so artwork should be kept as far away from the edge of the print area as possible to avoid appearing off centre or being trimmed off when cut.
